Create the pet profile
Add your pet’s name and photo. These are what a finder sees first, and they’re how a finder confirms they have the right pet.
The owner app
You use the app once. The finder never needs it.
The PetDentify app is where your pet’s finder page gets built and kept current. It is free, it is the only account in the system, and the person who finds your pet never has to download anything.

What the app does

Setup happens once. After that the app is only there when something changes.
Confirm your phone number
This becomes the Call owner action on the finder page. Confirming it is what makes the button work.
Add Safety Circle contacts
Optional backup contacts who agreed to be listed. You choose which ones appear, so a missed call isn’t the end of the line.
Write the profile to the tag
Hold the tag to your phone and the app writes the finder-page link to it. Then tap-test it yourself before it matters.
Why an app at all
Because a printed phone number can’t be changed.
An engraved tag is fixed the day it’s made. If you change your number, move, travel, or want a second person reachable, the metal doesn’t care — it still says what it said.
The app edits the page the tag points to. You update your details in the app and the finder page changes immediately. The tag itself is never rewritten, never reordered, and never has to leave the collar.

You choose what a finder can see.
The finder page shows your pet’s name, photo, and the contact actions you enabled — nothing more. Safety Circle contacts appear as call options only; they are not automatically called or notified when someone taps the tag.
